2020-2021 Athletics Update

Veritas will be hosting two running clubs this fall- 5th-8th grades and High School.  See Athletics website for more details.

Veritas Cross Country

Veritas is glad to have an active Cross Country team made up of students in grades 5th through 12th. As an outflow of our school’s mission statement, our Vanguard runners seek to model sportsmanship, aiming to bring glory to God as they serve and witness throughout the running community. In addition to the fall season, the Cross Country program offers a Running Camp in August each year.

Veritas school was blessed richly to qualify both the girls and boys team to the OSAA State Cross-Country Championship meet held Saturday, November 9, at Lane Community College in Eugene .  The boys finished 7th in state and the girls finished 9th!

The Veritas boys cross-country team were honored to receive the Les Schwab/ OSAA 1A boys team of the month for November. This award was for their academic and athletic achievements as well as their community service. Earlier in the year, both the boys and girls teams learned that we had also been honored for having the highest GPA in the state for 1A cross-country teams.

The Veritas middle school cross country team ended the season on a high note with athletes winning races, achieving personal records and
finishing the season strong.
