Welcome to Veritas School

A message from our Headmaster

It is my privilege to welcome you to Veritas School’s website. If you are new to classical, Christian education, it is my desire that this site provide you with a beginning to what will be a life-long pursuit of wisdom, virtue, and godliness. In fact, this is our mission for all of us at Veritas, from students to staff. Classical, Christ-centered education is first and foremost concerned with the formation of whole persons. It is about the shaping of souls and bodies for the faithful service of Christ and our communities. Classical, Christian education is not about preparation for specific tasks in the current economic structure. Rather, we want to prepare our graduates to be able to serve for their whole lives and with all they are, in whatever capacity their individual callings may ask of them.

The tools of learning—grammar, logic, and rhetoric—and our curriculum-rich in great books, great ideas in mathematics and science, music, art, foreign language, and physical education-are all designed to allow our students to move confidently and effectively into their adult lives.

We consider the shaping of our students’ virtue in a genuine community as every bit as important, if not more so, than their intellectual growth. (Fortunately, we do not have to choose!) From singing our hymn of the month together every Monday, frequent classroom devotions, prayer, and integration of a biblical worldview in all subjects, to our secondary House organization and deliberate implementation of our Portrait of a Graduate into the everyday life of our school, the formation of our students’ character is of paramount importance.

Our outstanding faculty of teachers and caring staff are dedicated to the intellectual and spiritual growth of each of our students, and our low classroom student to teacher ratio allows them to get to know each student well and to work closely with parents in this partnership of education.

Veritas School is committed to an exceptional Christ-centered faculty, students, and family culture. We are dedicated to unparalleled classical curriculum and instruction. And we are committed to having an exemplary K-12 ACCS program, including extraordinary academic and co-curricular achievement and preparation.

We would love to have you join us in this marvelous adventure and critical calling known as classical and Christian education.
