The Admissions Process

Dear Prospective Parents,
Thank you for your continued interest in Veritas School. We are grateful that you have taken the step of applying for admission for your child. I would like to briefly explain the admissions process to you.

After we receive your application, students applying for grades 1-12 will complete assessments in reading, math, and writing. This is done to help us place the students in the grade best suited to them. A family interview will also be arranged.  When the interview and assessments are concluded you will be contacted by the office. This can sometimes take a few days, depending on the circumstances.

I hope that the admission process is one in which you get to know Veritas better, and you decide that the classical and Christian education we offer is what you are looking for. Please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions about this process.

Respectfully,
Bryan Lynch
Headmaster

Admissions Terms

Heard a few terms and you aren’t sure what they really mean? Never fear… your answers are here:

Student Assessment
After the family application is received the admissions office will schedule a student assessment. Students applying for 1st-12th grade are required to take grade-level assessments for entrance.

Family Interview
Following the student assessment a family interview is scheduled with the Headmaster (secondary) or Head of Lower School (elementary). The interview provides an opportunity to get to know one another and a chance to ask questions.

Acceptance
Following the interview the family will be notified in writing of Veritas School’s acceptance decision.

Enrollment
Enrollment is finalized when a complete and signed enrollment contract has been returned, as well as the enrollment fee and the tuition deposit.

Wait Pool
If an applicant and family are found to be admissible but no space is available at that time, the option exists of remaining in a wait pool to be considered when a spot becomes available.
