Education at Veritas is inherently different in philosophy and
content from the education offered at other public or private schools.
Christian education as understood here is dedicated to placing in
the minds, hearts, and lives of our students all that God has revealed
in the Bible and the very best that man has learned, discovered,
or experienced during his sojourn on earth.
We have high expectations. At Veritas, we take seriously God’s
mandate that we are to love Him with our minds, as well as with our hearts,
souls, and strength.
Accordingly, we believe learning should be a pleasurable endeavor, but
also one that presents a challenge. This allows each student to develop
a true sense of personal accomplishment and an understanding of his or
her God-given abilities.
Children who rise to meet the challenges at Veritas School benefit from a strong academic experience that prepares them well for the future, both in higher education and the workforce. Veritas students consistently have scored at or above the 80th percentile in standardized achievement tests, and every Veritas applicant has been accepted at a four-year college or university.
High achievement in the classroom, however, is not our only measure of success.
Ultimately, Veritas School aims to graduate young men and women who:
- Think clearly and listen carefully with discernment and understanding;
- Reason persuasively and articulate precisely;
- Are capable of evaluating their range of experience in the light of the Scriptures;
… and do so with eagerness in joyful submission to God.
